Wasted is an exhibition of work by Gina Czarnecki exploring the life-giving potential of ‘discarded’ body parts.The exhibition also examines their relationship to myths, history, cutting edge stem cell research and notions of what constitutes informed consent.

The art works are sculptural, incorporating milk teeth, bones and fat. The end products are visually stunning and together take on a vast wealth of associated meanings for diverse audiences.

Meet the Artist: Saturday 18 May

2.00pm – 4.00pm & 6.00pm – 8.00pm

Artist Gina Czarnecki will be in the gallery working on Palaces.

Pop in to ask questions or bring your own milk teeth in and choose where to have them added to the sculpture. A rare opportunity to see the artist at work and discuss the exhibition.

There will also be a special screening of Gina Czarnecki’s film work. Booking is not required.
