The Lumen, a new magazine for literature and visual art dealing with illness and healthcare.

Magazine Launch and Readings – Friday April 24th

All are welcome to celebrate the first edition of The Lumen, a magazine for new literature and visual art that arose from a student-led medical humanities group in Edinburgh. – Locally-dwelling contributors to the magazine will be reading their featured piece(s) and/or new work.

– There will be a running projection of the visual artwork featured in the magazine and other work by the featured artists.

– Copies of the magazine will be available to buy (on a not-for-profit basis) and to order, should we sell out.

– And wine and nibbles

  • Time: 1900 for a 1930 start.
  • Venue: 50 George Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9JU. Follow signs to Project Room 1.06 (First floor).
