posted on January 14, 2025

Edited by Samuel Alberti (Royal College of Surgeons of England), ‘War, Art, and Surgery’ provides the first full illustrated catalogue of the Royal College of Surgeons collection of works by Henry Tonks and artwork created by Julia Midgley – with short essays and testimonies from personnel involved. The book falls on the heels of the celebrated exhibition held at the Hunterian Museum. Expressions of interest are welcome from across the medical humanities.
