Peter Singer, Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University, will be speaking at Durham on 5 June (17:30 to 19:00, Elvet Riverside 201). His talk is entitled: ‘The Most Good you can Do: How “Effective Altruism” is Changing Ideas about Living Ethically’. The organisers have indicated that there is “no need to reserve a seat, but if you don’t want to be left standing, do please try to arrive in good time.”
