One-day Workshop on Bodies and Minds in Medicine (King’s College Centre for the Humanities and Health, Friday 19 October 2012)

On Friday 19th October, the Centre for the Humanities and Health and the Department of Philosophy at King’s College London will be holding a one-day workshop entitled ‘Bodies and Minds’. This workshop will bring together a group of philosophers and physicians/health care workers small enough to facilitate constructive and lively group discussion on the topic.

The aims of this workshop are to generate real cross-disciplinary interchange between medical scientists/professionals and philosophers and to increase understanding of the key issues in discussions on bodies and minds in medicine and philosophy.

There are a very few places are left for this conference. Please contact Julia Howse if you would like to attend.
