Centre for Humanities Engaging Science and Society (CHESS) Seminar Series

The Centre for Humanities Engaging Science and Society (CHESS) is new research centre headed by Professor Nancy Cartwright and Professor Julian Reiss. Based in the Durham Philosophy Department, CHESS is broadly concerned with “Knowledge, Culture and the Public Good”.

All staff and students are invited to attend the upcoming series of talks, which are followed by a drinks reception and then dinner with the speaker. Please contact the Centre Administrator, Nicola Craigs to confirm attendance or with any queries.
