The Lincoln Theological Institute at the University of Manchester invites you to a 2 day interdisciplinary conference on caring relationships with technologies. The conference features talks from Prof Stuart Murray (Leeds), Prof Jeannette Pols (Amsterdam), and Dr Kate Devlin (Goldsmiths, University of London). Along with a range of shorter papers from researchers, the conference will explore the different ‘caring’ relationships that we enter with technologies: in terms of medicine, companionship, and intimacy. A full version of the programme is available on the conference website.
The conference will be held in the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures Graduate School, Ellen Wilkinson building, of The University of Manchester, 20 – 21 October. Registration for the event closes this week, and the link to register (as well as further information) is available on the conference website.
