Medicine Unboxed is an NHS project which describes a view of medicine which, whilst scientifically informed and technically good, is not reduced to the mechanical but elaborated by the arts and philosophy to a wider understanding of humanity, illness and medical care. We see this as a valuable platform for a necessary conversation between the public and healthcare around the goals and limits of medicine.
