Invitation to Join the Wonder Reading Group

WONDER READING GROUP

The ancient Greeks thought philosophy began in wonder. Thomas Aquinas believed it to be a desire for knowledge. Heidegger thought that we have ceased to wonder altogether and at the end of his life Wittgenstein mysteriously claimed that he had lived a wonderful life.

Ever wondered about wonder?

If you have ever wondered about wonder, its nature, meaning, facets, application or value why not join the new Wonder Reading Group.

The first meeting takes place on Friday 14th September, 14:00-16:00 Chapters of Durham Tearooms, Durham City Focus Ronald L.
